Original U.S. WWII First Pattern OSS Drop Knife with Steel Scabbard French Holster Year of Manufacture: circa 1819Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of the scarce OSS Drop Knife, 1st pattern. These knives were manufactured inexpensively and quickly during WW2, and were intended to be dropped from airplanes behind enemy lines to provide weapons for resistance fighters. This OSS Drop Knife is in good condition. There is staining and scattered patches of minor oxidation and light pinpricking on the blade surface, which is most likely the
